Community Dance Program

The Kindred Arts Community Program is our non-competitive recreational dance program, offering dancers consistent weekly training, performance opportunities, and a strong connection to our studio family. Dancers build strong technical foundations in a positive, encouraging environment where growth is celebrated, confidence is built, and joy in dance is the goal.

Community dancers attend weekly technique classes with their age group and take the stage in studio performances, community events, and both our Christmas Recital and Spring Recital—two of our favorite times of the year! This program is all about building skills, confidence, and community while having fun and growing a love for the performing arts.

  • We use a dress code to promote unity, confidence and limit distraction to our dancers. It is also for the dancer’s safety and helps our Instructors to give your student the best instruction possible. Instructors must be able to see the dancer’s body outline clearly to prevent injuries, prevent incorrect habits, and make proper corrections on posture and alignment.

For your convenience, all required dance wear for classes is available in our online store. Dancers at KADC are free to choose from any combination of the options listed for their class grouping, paired with the appropriate shoes for each dance style.

Note: Clogging shoes will be ordered separately.
